Graeco-Roman Museum

The modest Graeco-Roman Museum of Alexandria was opened in a small apartment in 1892. It moved to a larger space in 1895, and in 1901, its Italian archaeologist founder Giuseppe Botti published a full catalogue of the Museum's collection. There are hundreds of items listed, from marbles to coins to urns. It's a bit of a hodgepodge.
